Gaming and life choices?

I've been thinking a lot now that i have to use my money for rent, bills, utilities, books and whatever, do i really have the time for gaming? The cost would be ug, and i could instead devote that time to working at the gym, running, getting back into sports, spending more time socialising with friends. Anyone of you guys decided to take a break from gaming? I was thinking of maybe for the rest of my time at university i wouldn't invest any money in video games or spend time playing them to focus on other stuff in life.

I just buy games I want. I usually borrow a game from friends or family that I have interest in, but not enough interest to buy.
