So according to the CES keynote, Kinect has sold over 8 million units.


To be honest, that is weird....

From hearing some people's impressions on Kinect, I would not have anticipated that number.

Damn that's really impressive. I was thinking that 5 million before the end of the year was though but 8 million...

But Microsoft, are you sure the$ 500 million spent on advertising was worth it?
Considering most Xbox gamers are snapping at microsoft's heels for increasing the price of xbl and giving nothing new.

Aaron Greenburg said it was sold to consumers.
I think the $500 million was definitely worth it. 8 million units of a system that a lot of people thought was overpriced in two months is a great achievement. And it has also pushed the 360 over 50 million units sold worldwide.
