Yeah, from what I've seen it looks like a wanna-be Dark Souls game, lol.

I've never heard of City Interactive, so I'm thinking they may be another developer like 38 Studios that were in way over their heads, and spent too much money developing and releasing a huge title before they were ready.

It strikes me more as a shitty, family-friendly fan-fiction. Though using the word "shitty" may be redundant.

Probably buy it when it drops down to $30 or less.

I'll probably give it a shot too after a patch and price drop. The story looks pretty weak, but at least I won't have to worry about broken backstab mechanics.
