James Cameron unimpressed with Oculus Rift and VR Tech

RamboOnRedBull is unimpressed with 3D and the milking of the Picaho--... Avatar movies.

He's probably just upset because he didn't get to use it for his movies.

I would at least watch Avatar once, just to see your overall personal opinion. I remember watching it in 3D for the first time in Theaters, and being absolutely blown away by the movie. Then, I watched it again in 2D, and realized that this movie is painfully unoriginal and average. The 3D gimmick, mixed in with the CGI and visuals, was the big selling point for this movie. It's a decent movie, but nothing more than that. There are plenty of better action films out there.

As long he doesn't appear on stage in E3 ever again.

When was he at E3?

2009 E3 Ubisoft press conference. He spent 14 minutes talking about the Avatar game without showing a single gameplay footage.
