Microsoft isn't planning on removing Kinect from Xbox One

Yikes. That sucks.

Motion gaming will die, sooner or later. Notice how this gen there is already less a focus on motion gaming in comparison to last gen. It's a short lived gimmick that was never going to exist in any large significant way.

I don`t understand why Micrsoft is still trying to shove the Kinect down our throats. It never worked properly on the xbox 360, and still doesn`t work for the Xbox One. The gimmick itself is a joke. Nobody is going to get an xbone just for the kinect.

The Kinect should just be built-in to the Xbox. It's fine on paper, and I can see some appeal to it for casuals and parents, though I personally have no interest in it.

Can't you just buy one used without the Kinect?

345 dollar kinect-less xbone = instabuy.

We'll probably see a 345$ PS4 first.

Maybe in Japan, but not Europe nor the States, the console is still not meeting demand due to shortages. They'll stick with it's current price until it slows down significantly, then we'll see price cut.

In other news, I'm not planning on buying this shit.

Kinect is their most marketed feature for the Xbox One.
