| Soulcalibur is my favorite fighting series. Give me some awesome guest characters and a real in-depth character creator and I'm sold.
Basically expand upon the Soulcalibur IV character creator and add the Soulcalibur II Weapon Master mode. | |

The most popular one is 2D, where you play on one 2D plane. Most fighters use this, including Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom, Super Smash Bros., and Mortal Kombat (the original ones and the new one). 2.5D fighters have you playing on a 2D plane, but they give you the ability to switch between 2D planes. This is used in games like Soulcalibur, the last-gen Mortal Kombat games, Tekken, Virtua Fighter, and Dead or Alive. You play on a 2D plane, but you can sidestep to the left or right between planes. Then there are the 3D fighters, and the only ones that come to mind right now are Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi and Dissidia: Final Fantasy.
