Death of the family review. (Major spoilers)

So the arcs are from Suicide Squad, Batman, Red hood and the outlaws, Nightwing and Robin(Damian), Red Robin, Catwoman and Batgirl. If i remember correctly.
But I'll be sticking to batmans comic for the most part.

Overall i like dark themes I was a huge fan of flashpoint just because of Thomas Wayne as a alcoholic murderer crime fighter.
So I gave this a shot.

Basicly I would say I't is very very good.. if you overlook some of the old plot lines for Harley.

So Eventually Joker goes to the GCPD bulding to retrieve his face again. He kills the power in the building and then Kills everyone in there whilst telling a joke, Jim Gordon is shocked to hear/see him and hides.
Batman comes to save the cops.. but only Gordon is alive.
So Batman finds the case containing jokers face and see that it's gone.
Damian asks Bruce why The Joker is a big deal and that he can't be that dangerous if the Dollmaker managed to cut of his face.
Batman ofcourse says that the Joker wanted it removed. *gasp*

So Joker disguises the son of the first man he murdered Telling gotham that the mayor will die and after telling a joke which he ended with sometimes i just kill me...yes he gets killed.
The others ask to help out Batman but he declines them. And batman goes to the mayor to Look after Joker.
Gordon stations his men around the mayor as a precaution.
Batman and Jim sees them and they are turning green and asking for Batmans help... After tthat all cops die and instead of Jokers signature smile on the corpse It's now a frown.
Batman deduces with help of the toxins chemicals that the Joker is in ACe's Chemicals.
When Batman goes there he meets someone in a red hood and a tux.

Batman knows It's not Joker and dashes to him and gets knocked down in an empty vat and the one in the red hood tells him that Batman has gotten weak/soft.
Joker Says that batman has gone soft because of his allies. But nothing to fear cause Joker will take care of it.

So It turns out that It was harley in the tux and joker forced her to do it.
Harley tells batman that Joker is not her mr J anymore and a shorter comic is there to see how he did it etc.

Batman Is still trapped in the vat which is now filling up with acid, Batman looks for what made joker the joker but he finds nothing in the acid but death he eventually gets up and his suit is burned of but he is still alive.

Meanwhile batman was in the vat the joker Kidnaps alfred.
bruce notice this when he can't find alfred at home.

But he finds a tape where joker apologizes for borrowing his butler.
Batman goes to Gordon and (i still don't know why) Gordon starts to bleed from everywhere and batman put's him in the hospital and talks to nightwing about joker taking alfred.

Batman Meets Joker on the bridge where they first met, When joker was threatening to poison the water, but this tiime Joker has already poisoned the water because he is sick of the old routine, which makes Batman furious But Joker traps batman in shatter teeth and reveals to Batman and all in the bat family that he knows who they are. and is keeping their names in a book he has in his pocket.

And Joker tells them that they all will be dead by batmans hand.

Eventually Harv bullock arrives with a whole team aiming at joker.
But joker has men that takes down their chopper and than batman punches joker without his glove and joker has his lips filled with Joker Toxin, Joker then kicks down batman in the water.

Batman Wakes up with all of the bat family and they asked what joker meant by Batman having his calling card (Not sure when he said it...) And apparantley Joker knows where the batcave is.

Batman eventually finds out that Joker is in Arkham and has prepared a ''feast'' for batman
Joker refrences the inmates to knights, himself as the fool and batman as the king. Dressing the inmates in riot shields and flaming nightsticks.
And he even makes a Royal tapestry.



In there he battles his groundskeeper(Freeze), Royal player (Clayface) And his physician (Scarecrow)
Inside his ''throne room'' he meets




The joker forces the ''justice league'' to pull out the chainsaw killing ''superman''.

In the other comics the joker has successfully subdued everyone in the bat family.
The joker shows batman this as a final trumph card If batman wants to know what will happen to them he needs to sit on his throne (electric chair)
Which he does.

Batman survives this and arrive to the fest... and what's for dinner you ask?




The Feast is held in the batcave where joker moved them all, Joker tells Batman that this is the only way it will end and sets fire to all of them.
Batman moves a rock from the celing and water come flushing out.

And When Batman removes the bandages of damian he notices that...

Nothing is wrong whatsoever it was just a twisted joke.

Joker is furious and runs away, with some help of the animal he had with him... It was a bomb inside the animal filled with Joker toxin.
Everyone except batman gets the laughies and cant stop to smile, and eventually they fight eachother cause of the toxin.


Batman rushes after the joker and they begin to fight, Joker does not believe batman will go after him but he is mistaken.
Batman says that he has had enough and joker does not believe that. Telling batman that He won't go after him since he is to weak from his family.


But batman says that they make him stronger and puncher joker in the face removing the metal pins holding his face.
Joker gets up and runs away slipping on the rocks and to his death but batman saves him, saying not by accident because batman wants to be responsible for jokers injuries./death?
Batman tells joker that while he was gone he managed to figure out who he was, this frighten joker and he joybuzzes batman in the face and falls to his death.

Later batman types in joker on the computer and it says identity unknown.. Batman also looks in jokers book for the identities but doesn't find anything only blank pages.
