I've no doubt forgotten a lot of older games but I made this list in about 5 minutes, off the top of my head.
Some of these games I've not completed, others I've barely even played but thought they deserve mention because sometime down the line I aim to clear them and I already know they will deserve to be on this list. This is in no order whatsoever. Argue with my opinion if you like but this is just my personal taste. Write your own top 50's if you like.

Never enjoyed it that much. Having to go across half the map to do missions got tedious, the camera was difficult, the locations and city itself were very repetitive, etc.
Spider-man was rougher around the edges and was more streamlined and linear and didn't quite have the same scale nor provide the same excitement with its lack of an open world but I felt more enjoyment playing it. Truth be told I'd sooner put the psp version of spiderman 2 over the console version as it was in the same vein as the first one on ps2/ngc. Not disregarding Spiderman 2 as an excellent game but it was never a favourite of mine as impressive as it was.

They are. You can download them for free off of Bethesda's website but you need DOSBox to run them.

The PSP version and the PS3 HD version are only released in Japan. You'll have to go to play-asia or ebay to get it. I say it is worth the import.

I love Play-Asia, but most of the stuff there are fucking expensive.
It cost over $400 just to buy the whole Valkyria Chronicles series on Blu-ray. :x

Well another advantage that you can freely move the camera around with the right stick.

Ah that's good. I didn't mind the control scheme at all actually on psp. I would have just preferred a bit more freedom with it though (coz you know, you press a direction and it slides to a preset angle)

Im telling you right now don't bother. Both of those games have aged so badly you will hate them. They are also extremely buggy. Daggerfall is pretty cool though because the game world is literally over half the size of the British isles. Biggest game world in history. But its mostly empty space. No fast travel.

Harry Potter 2 doesn't come close to being in the same league as Halo and Gears of War.

Okay, it's part nostalgia perhaps but honestly Chamber of Secrets was a fantastic game. Exploring Hogwarts for the first time on the PC version was brilliant, Flying around the castle on the console version was fantastic, Exploring Diagon Alley for the first time on the Gameboy Advance version was so cool, The rpg elements of the game boy color version were great, the open environments of the ps1 version too were impressive.
