Fucking computer

I started uploading a gameplay of BC2 last night, its a large file so the upload was gonna take about 6 hours, i started uploading about 1am so i figured i'll just go to sleep and leave the laptop on and it will upload through the night. This is what ive been doing with my Medal of Honor Frontline walkthrough because it also has large files so i just upload them when i go to sleep.

So i woke up this morning expecting it to be uploaded and processed but what am i greeted with? "Microsoft updates were succesfully installed". Meaning my fucking laptop restarted itself sometime in the night to install some shitty update that i dont give a fuck about and it cancelled my upload which i'm now having to restart Evil or Very Mad

i would just turn off the updates if i was you. i dunno if you can on vista tho

But seriously, the automatic updates are annoying. And every fucking day it seems like Win 7 has a fucking update!

I use Mac, Ubuntu, and Windows-based computers in the house. When it comes to updates the Mac and Ubuntu-based pcs don't seem to be updated as frequently, or at least they just get a window with a list of updates and it downloads them for you. This window also does not interrupt your work, at least for me anyway.
