Was it faithful to the movie, and was the movie faithful to the game?
lol.
I didn't see the movie. But the game in comparison to the 2002 version were generally similar. They definitely changed the plot towards the end though.

Err... I heard the the movie literally uses the same cut scenes as in the game. So if you have the game, you basically already seen the movie.

The Angry Birds Movie looks like is flopping critically as well. All that's left is Assassin's Creed and Warcraft to become the very first good video game movie.
