Undying Video Games Forum for People Who Like to Play Video Games
Different Video-Game awards show this year, as both Spike TV and Viacom are no longer hosting or involved in this show's process. Hopefully, this means it will be an all-around better show to watch, and more professionalism shown throughout. BAD NEWS THOUGH: Geoff Keighley is still hosting.
GOTY Nominees: Bayonnetta 2, Dark Souls II, Hearthstone, DA: Inquisition, Shadow of Mordor
The nominees in other categories seem interesting as well. Metal Gear Online is set to premiere, with about 12-18 other world premieres tonight. Bloodborne, No Man's Sky, and The Order: 1886 to get new looks as well. EA set to have a special announcement tonight. Tetsuya Nomura to attend. (KH3 TRAILER? ) No new announcement from Xbox though.
Airs tonight at 9 P.M. EST

Spike had a different show called VGX last year, and it was fucking horrid. It strayed off from the traditional VGA-type setting, into a low-budget esque type show. It looked like it was shot in a fucking garage. It was just horrible, and a terrible example of a "video-game awards show". (Though, the rap-performances were lulzy as fuck)

Yeah, I remember. It was so fucking shit that almost everyone here stopped watching it after a few minutes in.

No Man's Sky looks fucking insane. The way there was no cutscene or intermission or pause when he entered the planet was beautiful....

Watched The Game Awards. It was okay I guess. Wasn't as entertaining as the long "race" debate that everyone was having on the chatbox. Almost chocked on my pizza from laughing.

Game Awards show was actually good for once. The new Zelda gameplay looked good. Bloodborne looked badass, and No Man's Sky looks fucking outstanding.
