Missing Images

Thanks to ImageShack's great reliability, and loyalty to their users, they deleted a tonne of their old images.  These images no longer exists, and as such you'll notice that some banners, signatures, and various other images have been replace with this:

Or simply removed completely. In light of this, we highly recommend you use Imgur or Servimg for your image hosting.

Not many of us use ImageShack, but there are some missing on older threads too, and some inactive member's sigs.

ImageShack requires payment now. Best to use imgur and break things into albums to avoid the "Only 225 images in your account are visible" limit.

Payment? Who the fuck is going to pay for ImageShack when there are other free image hosting sites?

I think they delete images in your account over time as well. Probably paying them will prevent that.

Well imgur requires payment to lift the "Only 225 images in your account are visible" limit however you can easily avoid that with breaking things into albums.

Flickr gives you a free Terabyte.

Well, that's fucking dumb. There goes about half the images on this forum. The old threads were filled with them.

Flickr isn't bad, but I heard they used to flip if you didn't include a link.  W/e, imgur's easier except that it constantly logs me out.

I just use Tinypic.

I've never used imageshack

I use imgur like a regular person

Imgur apparently sucks for larger images. If you try to upload something and it gets downscaled, just use Flickr.

TinyPic isn't super reliable, I frequently see their "this image no longer exists" image all over the internet. Servimg is the most reliable for Forumotion forums, since that's what they want you to use for buttons and icons and stuff. Flickr keeps the highest quality for free. Imgur is imgur, built for redditors, simple to use, but it's starting to turn into a 9gag-ish community.
