Now wtf do I do

Right...
I've enjoyed being in possession of a wii, it's a cool system n everything.... but recently the last SD TV I had broke. So now I'm upgraded to HD with 40 inch screen. Problem? Yes... the wii doesn't just look bad... it looks horrible!
I don't mind a bad resolution but it's worse, it looks washed out, it looks blurred, there is just literally no clarity visuals-wise. It's nasty. I've played around with all the options, made the wii take up only a bit of the screen (compress the size), put on noise reduction to full but it still looks horrible. I tried playing but It's just bad, I sit further away from the screen so it looks a bit clearer but then I'm too far away to notice things on the screen so I end up running past important things in-game and such.

What do I do?

Well, it won't look like PS3 and Xbox 360 graphics, but it won't be as blurry or washed out either. It will look just fine on your HDTV once you buy this cable.

Sell it and get ps3....Or safe the money for new nintendo console.

that's good. Thanks for that. But I'm going to see how much pre-owned wiis are selling for. I may end up just selling mine because there are loads of xbox games I want to get and the wii is like a bit of an inconvenience.

I dunno why you didn't buy a PS3. Wii's got nothing this year. PS3 has so many good games you should give a shot.

I agree with Lykos though, having more then one system is kind of a waste, at least for me. I barely touch my Xbox now that I game primarily on PC. My xbox is just a good looking DVD/Netflix device now.

But I dunno, I'm low on cash at the moment. If I sold my wii with the games I could probably get £150 if I'm lucky...

And there are 60GB ps3's selling in that kind of price range.

60GB is fine, plus you can use any laptop hard drive in your PS3. So, you could, down the line, pay $90 and get a 500GB HDD.
