While PSN is down XBL will receive a security update? LMAO..Also, it appears that the firmware update will support an upgraded DVD disc format.
There is no pretending that this PSN incident will affect PS3 sales. Seems like it's not such a shit year for MS. Even by doing absolutely nothing MS somehow 1UPs Sony.
Now MS..give us a Perfect Dark and Alan Wake sequel and we will call it a day.

For now. :\
Notice how the PS3 was supose to overtake the 360 in sales since like friggen early 2010. Again, MS is always a step ahead.
That doesn't mean jack shit to us gamers though. I don't care if MS is making massive profits off of Kinect I want to play new core games from Microsoft.

The way M$ handles CC info and Gold subscriptions is shit. I'd honestly feel better with my money in Sony's hands.
But I'm glad they're introducing these measures and Paypal, although the only one who would potentially take my money is M$ itself.

That's a bit overboard. Unlike Sony, MS hasn't compromised anyone's CC info. The only thing I hate about MS with subscriptions is that you can't turn off auto-renewal without calling them. That's ghey.

That's basically what I was referring to. It pisses me off to no end that you have to call them to turn off auto-renewal. I'm fairly certain most people would prefer it off.

All the youtube whores use paypall to get easy cheap money that they already get from ad's on their videos. Great, now all the big time people on XBL will get free donations.

I was exaggerating a bit, but MS handles it terribly. You have to go to their website to remove a card and you have to call them up to turn off auto-renewal, which is ridiculous.

It's not in some hacker's hands, and even if it was, it's encrypted. Microsoft is more likely to wrongfully charge a credit card than any PSN hacker.

I'm sure Xbox live users have had their CC info comprised but not in a large scale like PSN.

But it's not really compromised. I doubt it'd be compromised on XBL either.
