Although, Crysis 1 from 2007 still looks better than any console game : )

Just goes to show you that when a dev is willing to spend the time and resources to take advantage of the hardware you get beautiful looking games like The Witcher 2, Shogun 2 & Planetside 2. Same with teh consoles

I've outputted my laptop to my 1080p TV. Does that make it 1080p now?

Yup.

If in your resolution settings of the game its saying 1920x1080 you're pulling a native 1080p. Notice how your laptop will explode... btw you have to change it manually in-game or it will default to the previous resolution.

Woah, that's awesome. I don't know how to change to 1920x1080 though :S there's no options on the games I've tried. Will Crysis allow me to do this?

well I haven't played crysis in a while so im no pro at the layout of the menus

options > custom settings > resolution ?
