Something Gamers forget about PSN

Every time I read an Xbox Live Vs PSN article, they mention PSN has no cross game chat, when that's not really the case. I remember a certain feature on PSN that lets you XCG, that feature is the text chat room. Why does everyone forget about this feature? Something Gamers forget about PSN 21888

I remember the first time I found out about the built-in mic on the Vita. Didn't even realize people could hear me while I was playing until later. xD

Because it censors what you say and it's not very convenient when you're playing games, especially when the in-game XMB takes a while to load.

Doesn't matter, it still lets you chat with friends when playing different games.

So what? If it's not very convenient to the user then what is it for? Talking points for console wars?

They should just remove it and whatever useless applications that are slowing down the ingame XMB. Or at the very least improve it and remove the ridiculous censorship.

Alan, the whole point was to tell you guys about PSN having its own version of XGC. Not whether if it works or not. There's also ways around the censor.

I think most people who have a PS3 are aware of that feature.

You're face-palming when you've reiterated what I said in my previous post. You brought it up as a talking point for the console wars debate.

If gamers are so aware of this feature, why is it never brought up? Instead people say PSN has no XGC at all. Even websites do this.
