Next Generation of Graphics - Unreal Engine 3 Tech Demo

I hear this is running on 3 nVidia GTX580, i looked it up and 1 GTX580 will cost you $500.

What yall think?
Will this be possible in the next gen consoles?

Looks good but it doesn't look that improven from this generation.

Depends on the price of GPU's in the future. Cliffy B said in a recent interview he expects the next gen to look like this.

And why would they even spend all that money on a new engine along with DICE, Crytek and Id Software? Soley for high end PC use? Doubt it.

I'm guessing the devs know something, Just Cause dev expecting new consoles <<<<< CLICK LINK

I expect the next gen of consoles to look like BF 3, high-end PC version and better, but not by much.

Really not that impressive looking. The problem with Unreal Engine is that it's too fucking shiny. There's so many glossy layers on the models and textures.

You have to admit the lighting/reflections is superb.

Agreed. It looks to me like the next-gen consoles are gonna flop hard since most people will see that it's not that much of an improvement.

True, a lot of the early demos for this gen look like crap compared to what developers can do today.
