No, they were making fun of how they use the tech. Not the tech itself.

I don't know about it being the MOST advanced.

But it's pretty impressive stuff. Teams in the FIRST robotics competiton are using Kinect to control robots.



For videogames, it's not practical technology. But there is no doubt that it's sophisticated.

Alan has a point. The kinect is incredible technology....except for what it was actually meant for....ironicly.

It's pretty impressive when it's not been used for what it's supposed to be used for, gaming.

My favorite feature is that it doesn't recognize black people.
