| Some wii games I've not played but would like to know more about :) But not from critics, from actual gamers.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Crystal Bearers SoulCalibur Legends Monster Hunter Tri Goldeneye 007 Red Steel House of the Dead overkill MySims
If you've just played one of these, any of them, I'd appreciate it if you could answer some of my questions about it :)

| GET HOUSE OF THE DEAD OVERKILL!! Its so fun. Its like a WAY over the top 80's horror film (hence the "overkill"). Its really fun.
MySims is stupid and cartoony.
Goldeneye 007 is alright.
Thats all I have played.

| Don't bother with Final Fantasy or Soulcalibur. MySims is fun as well as Overkill. Haven't played any of the other ones. | |

| Lykos, if you want to play a good Soulcalibur game, buy Soulcalibur on XBLA, Soulcalibur II for Xbox, or Soulcalibur IV for Xbox 360. | |

I got Soul Calibur 2 on Gamecube. I just was interested because the wii version looks like a cool rpg style game. - chu..i mean jubby wrote:

| Final Fantasy, Soul Calibur, and Red Steel, fuck them. Unless you mean Red Steel 2. Haven't played house of the dead overkill or mysims. Monster Hunter tri is alright. You go on quests and kill monsters, get a bunch of loot, then go upgrade your stuff, repeat. Goldeneye 007 is pretty fun, it's like Cod but without killstreaks and a lot less camping. Make sure you get the Classic Controller Pro to go along with that though, the Wiimote and nunchuck, against what people say, sucks for shooters, unless they're on rails. | |

Fair enough lol. Thanks for all the info. And I've played Monster Hunter games before on psp, I just wanted to know if they are good with wii controllers

Not really. the wiimote + nunchuck style of play is the best way to play the game. you have or precision , control, and emmersion when you play the game this way. once you use wiimote + nunchuck, you will never go back.

I did use the wiimote and nunchuck at first, I did okay, but then I started dominating when I used the gamepad. @Lykos I've never used the wiimote/nunchuck on Monster Hunter, you can drop an extra 10 bucks..or quid or whatever you guys call it over there and get the edition that comes with the Black Classic Controller Pro. It's shaped like the SNES controller but with handles...and 2 shoulder buttons, 2 analog sticks, and a home button.

| I actually prefer dual-stick controllers over the Wiimote and even the keyboard/mouse combination. I refuse to believe that one is universally better. I've always been a console gamer, so I'm much more used to controllers. | |

I may not necessarily buy any. Though I reckon I'll buy eventually one or two of them. But thanks though I quite like the nunchuck + wiimote combination :)
