| I connected to xbox live for the first time in about a month and there in the indie section was a game gazing back at me called "The Avatar Legends".  I didn't think twice. I took a quick look at it online then bought it then and there for 240 microsoft points. Now I have only played for a short while but I can already see how incredible this game is. It has both single player and multiplayer and an adventure builder in which you can create your own locations, multiplayer maps and storyline! The creation has fiddly controls but there's quite a few tools and objects to play around with (including terrain editing, texture changing, water, weather, npc's, etc). You can also play people's maps online.  The single player I have only just started and so far it seems a bit cliche and average but hey, it is an indie game and to my surprise the gameplay is pretty tight. Could be improved but nothing feels particularly broken or badly done.  There are quite a few swords and shields to unlock (about 20/30 for each) and spells too. Graphically it looks surprisingly really good. Trees are covered in individual leaves which look great up close. The ground textures look pretty realistic, water glistens and looks beautiful and the weapons you use are pretty awesome too. Furthermore, the soundtrack is pretty good.  Highly recommend this game. Nope. Maybe I will though. I'd definitely recommend it. The single player alone can take a good 10 hours and then you have multiplayer and can make your own adventures. For 240MSP that is a bargain! - BlackStigma wrote:
