| Rockstar is probably one of the best game publishers ever, although I'm not happy the way RDR ended.

| Every new Rockstar games seems to have more of a focus on narrative. GTA IV went for a more serious approach, Red Dead Redemption did some really interesting storytelling with the Wild West and LA Noire is completely narrative driven.
I personally think that this is great and Rockstar are the prime example of developers who are pushing the envelope of what videogames can be and transcending it into a different demographic of consumers. | |

According to Wikipedia, Take-Two wholly owns 2K and Rockstar, so yes Rockstar is a subsidiary of them. | |
