| Superhero movies make money based on branding, marketing and an installed fanbase. No movie has ever made over 400 million dollars based on their quality. Superhero or not. That said, Indie films do better as far as how meaningful and unique they are, but I like superhero movies as well when they have something to add to themselves ( The Dark Knight, X-Men: Days of Future Past, etc.) Take notes, Marvel.  | |
