Captain America 3 is going to be based on the Civil War comic. Where Spider-Man plays a major role in the story and reveals his secret identity to the world.

At this point I don't care too much about the appearance. No one has ever properly played the two characters in a single movie, that's all I really want at this point. Not sure who could pull that off though, there'd need to be someone beyond the level of the late Christopher Reeve.

As long as it's not Miles Morales, then I'll be fine.

Anyway, does spidey have to be young? We've seen the cunt's origin befoe, everyone knows it, literally EVERYONE. Can't we have a mature-ish spidey?

@Stoney I highly doubt they are going to cram Spider-Man's origins in Captain America 3. They're just making him younger is all. So it just seems logical that someone that young would still be in high school. They do need to explain where the fuck he was when New York City was under attacked by aliens in The Avengers though. Also another reason why he might be so young is because almost all of The Avengers are 30+ years old. So if you're going to have someone younger in the team, Spider-Man is the perfect character to do that.

Yeah, that's true. 

I do hope that Marvel will work closely with Sony on their stand-alone movie. I just don't trust Sony with the franchise anymore.

@RamboOnRedBull Sony would have to be retarded not to listen to Marvel. Final say or not, Marvel are the ones that know exactly what the fuck they are doing and they are helping Spider-Man stay relevant at the box-office for free. I can't even imagine Sony interfering after the disaster of The Amazing Spider-Man 2. It would be like me saying Neil deGrasse Tyson is wrong, I'm right. Which is why I choose to believe Marvel are the ones with the creative control over the Spider-Man franchise now.

Marvel are gonna make him even worse, lol.

I just hope his identity stays a secret from the other Avengers. Even if he ends up working for Stark.
