How faithful have you been to your consoles?

The longest console I ever owned, besides the PS3, was my GameCube. I still have it, but I no longer own any of the game and shit due to GameStop screwing me over.

Longest owned console: Xbox 360 for almost 7 years. I haven't played it in a while, though.

Longest owned handheld: Game Boy Color for 13/14/15 years. I got it for Christmas when I was young. I play it when I want to play Pokemon. Shame that the battery in the cartridge dies after 10 years.

Longest owned console: PS2

Betrayed it by giving it away to my cousin in sandland.

My N64. Still have it to this day. No controllers, though.

Well I technically started with PC. Obviously the PC (and laptop) I had back there are long gone but some of the games I played on it like Heroes III of MIght & Magic (1999), I still have in my possession.
Longest owned console: Game Boy Advance. Had it since 2001 I think.
Then I got a Gamecube, god knows when. Maybe 2003 or 2004. Then a PS2. Then an XBox 360. Still own them all. I sold my N64 & PS1 but last year I bought a new N64.

PSP, had it since 2001.

Had a PSone since 1998. Although the first one broke. Faggot cousins my brother was baby sitting starting fighting over the controller and ending up pulling it off the table and it smashed into the ground and broke.

Other than that I have had a nintendo 64, i got it 1999. Although one day my mom was ironing in my room and she forgot to turn off the iron and put it on top of the power cable. Didn't get a new cable till years later. The burn mark is still on the floor.

If handhelds count then I have had my GBC since 1998, still in great condition. I got an original GBA for christmas 2000. I still have it but I lost the battery cover and you need to press the down button really hard for it to work.

Longest owned console is my PS1. I used to have a Dreamcast but my cuzzo accidentally stepped on it with heels... RIP

Longest owned is PS2. Only have the console, power supply and a few games lying all over the place in my house. Don't have nothing to connect it with the TV though or else I would have sold it.

My Sega Mega Drive died via ice cream falling into the cartridge holder thingy. I remember it vividly, I was proudly showing off WWF Royal Rumble to my cousin who had hadn't seen in months, and he was eating an ice cream , I asked him to put the cartridge in and when he leaned over it fell off the cone and plopped right in.

About two years ago I was going through stuff in the attic my grandmothers house and I found it, and there is still residue on it from that fucking ice cream incident.

Fucking ice cream from 95'. I have ice cream on my sega mega drive older the Duke. Ain't that summit.

I have owned plenty of consoles in my lifetime. A PS1, PS2, PS3, N64, NES, Gamecube, Wii, NDS, GBA, PSP, and a Gameboy Color.

My PS1 broke ages ago, when my younger sibling actually put a penny inside the disc slot of the console and the console would no longer read the discs being put in. Had around 30-40 PS1 games at that time. Sadly, that was the end of my PS1 experience. (This happened around 1998-99 I would say)

Got a N64 a few months later, and still have own one to this day. IMO, it's still the best video-game console ever made and easily Nintendo's best Console. Have around 40 games for it. I sometimes bust it out and play it on an old SDTV to breathe nostalgia into myself, and relieve some of the classics. I have also picked up a few games for it in the past decade.

Owned a NES, even before I was born from an older sibling and had about only about 15-20 games for it. Gave it away to neighbor (back in 2002-ish?) who also owned an NES at that time. Did't really care about giving this one away.

Still have my NDS, GBA, Gameboy color, and PSP games lying around in my room somewhere. Only have one PSP unit that works, as my bro has one that the on switch broke and he no longer uses. To be honest, I have no idea why I even decided to get a PSP. I have only about 5-6 games and one movie for it. I regret even owning one. I may be selling it in the future to those who would possibly want it. Have two Gameboy color units, two gameboy advance units, and one SP unit. (Around 45-50 games combined) Have two NDS units and about 40 games for it. I really need to get either a PSVita or a 3DS, because there are tons of games for both systems I want to play. (Japanese Imports, etc.)

Got a Gamecube from my bro in 2003. First game I played was Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. So many great memories of that game, Smash Bros. Melee, and Mario Sunshine on that console. Unfortunately, my parents gave it away to my kid cousin without telling me about 3 years ago. To make things worse, he doesn't even play games anymore and still won't give it back to me.

Got a PS2 in 2001, and played it till I got my PS3 in 2008. Owned about 250-300 games for it, in addition with my PS1 games mixed in with it. Sadly, I sold everything consisting of them to Gamestop in 2010 and got about $250 in refund for them. (Worst decision I've probably ever made. Never got around to so many games that I was interested in playing that came out over the years.)

Got a Wii in 2007, never really touched it much over the years except to play some of the Zelda games. I really want to get a Wii U soon.

Still own a PS3, which is coming on its sixth year of life for me. Still, the main and only console I really game on nowadays. Have about 65-70 games for it. Might get a PS4 later this month for Destiny.

Oh, and I also owned about 4 different PS2 consoles, since the other 3 either did not work anymore or stop reading discs. Stupid fucking Disc-reading error, still PISSES me off to this day!

I didn't start gaming until PS3, so I guess that.

My longest owned console is probably the PS2, I loved playing GTA: Vice City and Rayman 2 Revolution on that thing.

Is Rayman 2 Revolution a different game than the Rayman 2 I've played on the PS1/N64?
