Is Xbox One the true king of sales?

Honestly, I have thought of this myself in the past, too. Though, you missed out the fact that the PS4 is available in more European countries than the Xbox One on a current basis.

I didn't even know this. So really Xbox One is doing better than PS4. One Microsoft get it into as many regions as Sony, they will probably outsell it in most of those places....not Japan though.

People take things at face value and misconstrue it as "proof" of the superiority of something.

I am effectively doing the same thing. I am taking these sales and making them work for my own agenda.

This shows how taken out of context and ignoring many variables, you can make anything appear grander than it is. The truth is;

Microsoft fucked up at E3 with the DRM shit (some of my mates still think the DRM exists)
Sony smeared them even further by rubbing that in with their sharing bullshit
Microsoft fucked up bundling kinect
Microsoft fucked up with the higher price tag
Sony have a tighter grip in the gaming industry
Xbox is sold in less regions (not even sold in Japan yet)

This is why Xbox has less sales overall. It says nothing of the quality of the console.
