I hate how the stupid, non-artistic games like this shit, LoL, CoD, and MineCraft are the most popular. It'd be nice if the deep, more artistic games got some more attention.

Games like Journey, The Wolf Among Us, and TWD by Telltale games got a lot of attention. A lot of the PSN and XBLA titles are also really good.
I recommend Outlast and Gone Home. They are two really cool indie-first person games and you will like them if you're into survival horror.
